Chairs


My chosen wood is reclaimed scaffolding boards. Most people may think they are just grubby planks of wood, but if you scrape off the grime, underneath you'll find a richness of colour and grain that's just not present in fresh timber.

Each board has its own character with cracks and splits that portray its history. All this is down to the hard work of the construction industry who add the essential raw ingredients: cement, plaster, blood, sweat and tea!
